Spending time on a longer answer, or a short answer that ends up higher on the list since it was faster? Do you read all answers to your questions?

I take my time with my answers... it's best to be thorough. I'm not worried about the points, so I don't answer quickly just to get something up there, I'm just worried about this person picking the right answer. But some people ignore the longer answers, which sucks sometimes. But you don't do that, so that's nice.

If I ask a question I read all of the answers. And normally, I'm looking for someone to spell it out for me to so I appreciate some of the longer answers.
I guess a lot of it depends on the question. A serious one should get long answers probably. But a quick little one or a joke doesn't need long answers.

It doesn't matter. I just write what I want to write. Fast or Not. Sometimes I get a call in the middle of while I am writing and it might stay up there 15 minutes before I get to finish.
Oh and I always read all the answers to my questions. I don't know why someone would ask a question if they weren't interested in everyone's answers.

I read all answers because I want to make sure I get as many ideas as possible. You never know how much you can learn whether the answer be long or short.

Yes I read all the answers to my questions. There's no point in asking questions if you don't care about the answers.

I always read the answers, no matter how long. You would be amazed at what some people know if you take time to read their answers.

That is relevant to the question isn't it. I do read every answer I get and I always pick the one I find to be the best thought out.
