Quickbooks or Quicken from intuit (www.quickbooks.com) is really good but Microsoft has come out with Office Accounting that is free for the "Express" version. (www.microsoft.com/smallbusiness/products/office/accounting-express/detail.mspx)

Less than $10.00---can't think of one for that amount. Spend a little more and get Quicken.

It is the best for personal and small business.

Every one uses PeachTree or Quickbooks.

I use Quickbooks and its seems to be pretty universal. It's also what my accountant uses.
