I would say Kelly Clarkson cause she was the first one. But I go to UW-River Falls and we all love our country so I would say the best American Idol would have to be Carrie Underwood. She showed just how great country can be. Way to go Carrie! But another good country guy was Josh Gracin such a hottie.

My favorite is definitely Chris Daughtry. I got his CD for Christmas and he is an awesome singer! I can't believe he didn't win! I also agree with you. Josh Gracin was my favorite the first season. I was rooting for him the whole time. Kelly Clarkson is by far, the most successful. I wonder if any other American Idol will be popular like her.
