You live in a town. And you do stuff like plant trees, dig up fossils, catch bugs & fish. But the fun doesn't stop there. You get a part-time job, become massivly in dept from your house, Fall in holes, carry large pieces of furniture in your pockets, put a grand piano in your refrigarator.
Ok, that went a little off track. At least you aren't carged with intrest on your home.

It is somewhat like a life-simulator. . .
You actually should be somewhat happy about it; there are much worse games for kids to play than Animal Crossing, which has a very nice message overall (do you know the mechanics of the game? if not, it revolves around paying off a lone made to buy your house).

because the game is fun - you become an animal and you can walk around, make friends and buy things in the town. she could be hooked on much worse games, you should be happy she likes animal crossing

no idea every one i know says the game is rubbish even my sister says so (or at least that's what i think she says) anyway its a boring game yeah i mean the graphics are good and everything but do you really think i want to work for a fox and be nearly broke with crappy pieces of furniture and clothes and have goats and monkeys as friends and (breathe) not have any friends because no one plays on that game but if you do want some cheats go to gamespot.co.uk its great

hey rose. id really like 2 hang out in animal crossing , so here's my info: fc:1762 3778 1909 name:shannon town:town ill add u right after i finish writing this so please add me as soon as u can. ill open my g8s so u can come 2 my town, or we can go 2 urs, it doesn't matter as long as we can hang out. :) oh, & if ur worried about people messing up ur town, i would recommend that u dont add people with this thing called ar. those r the people who can really mess ur town up. i have a few friends with ar, but its only because i really no i can trust them. (ar=action replay) the worst damage people without ar could do is like cut down ur trees, which is a lot less than wat people with ar could do. dont worry, im a good person & i promise i wont touch anything in ur town unless u want me 2. plus i dont even have ar. i think its pointless. ive been doing wifi 4 like 6 months & its really fun! hope 2 c u soon! :D

its becuase there is a depth of doing what you feel like instead of what the game tells you to do in it, which is usually rare, but it gives great feedback from users and gamers are making more and more games like that (e.x. elder scrolls oblivion, spore, new skateboard games) basically, gaming is heading toward a life you want, but you cant acheive, so you do through gaming!

my niece didnt think much of that game her favorite is sims 2 pets she is hooked on that
