By numbers you have to go with Manning but when it matters Brady has been outstanding. If Manning wins the superbowl does that put him into a class by himself? If Marino won a superbowl I think he would of been talked about differently. You here more about Young, Aikman, Montana etc. All of whom won the superbowl but with numbers not close to Marino.

Brady is the best qb when you look at it he dont have a great receiving corp and he is 11-1 in the playoffs which is the most important part of the season. Whereas manning record in the playoffs is sub.350 even though he had marvin harrison, reggie wayne, and had edgerin james for all those years.

You have to say Brady because of the rings, like him or not.
Manning and the Marino comparison is fair until he breaks through. He's the greatest QB never to win the big game.
After that, if somehow Brees wins a Super Bowl, he arguably is in the top three. His season was incredible, worthy of MVP consideration.

manning is the best period, todays defenses are way too complicated compared to the time marino and montana were playing. plus players on defense are faster and smarter than they were. yet manning continues to shred records even those set by marino and all those other greats. even if he doesnt win the sb. i think overall hes the best quaterback to touch a football. he tooo damn mechanically sound, quick release, makes very smart reads,...this is the one player that makes you feel uncomfortable when he touches the field.
plus winning a superbowl is not won by quaterbacks. it takes everyone in the team to perform in order to accomplish such a goal. to brady didnt play defense or special teams.

If Brady beats the Colts and wins another Super Bowl, he becomes the greatest QB EVER. (Even Montana lost a Championship game). For now, he is easily the greatest QB in the league. He has but one weakness... facing the Miami Dolphins...

even without a ring marino was the man...peyton is the best QB hands down...one man can't win a super bowl it takes a team...look at the ravens when they won it or Da bears if they win it
