godel proved that mathematics is self-contradictory thus he explins all the paradoxs in mathemats ie peterburgh paradox in probablity russsels cantor set theory paradox skolem pardox in axiomativ theory Maths is riddled with self-contradiction and godels showed why with his proof of the inconsuistemcy of math

the mathematician Bunch and the mathmaticians Nagel and Newman state " what godel proved was the lair paradox it is a statements x that says x is not provable Therefore if x is provable it is not provable a contradiction If on the other hand x is not provable the its situation is more complicated. If x says it is not provable and it really is not provable then x is true but not provable. RATHER THAN ACCEPT A SELF-CONTRADICTORY STATEMENT MATHEMATICIANS SETTLE FOR THE SECOND CHOICE"

Dean shows that this leads to the meaninglessness of mathematics at a fundamental level What do you think

Read the paper by Diego Saa (19 pages of "fun").

I remember going through that sort of thing, dealing with the Axiom of Choice (before 2005) in my courses. It has to do with proving thing where infinite choices are needed (using "closed infinites").

The Saa paper concludes:
"... the author has been able to develop the refutation to the Gödel incompleteness theorems, contained in the main body of this paper."
and
"This formula enters in contradiction with the premises of Gödel incompleteness and undecidability theorems, with the consequence that such theorems are invalid."
meaning that Gödel's conclusion is NOT proven.

So it looks like mathematics is not contradictory after all.

There are lots of people who would make fun of the possibility of changing their fates. This is because it thinks that nobody gets more that exactly what is put in his destiny.

Of course not. That's ridiculous.

Mathematics is the backbone of all our technology. We would still live in caves without it.
