Oops! Here we have Yellow containers that accept plastic bottles, bags, metal cans and Tetra-Brick milk and fruit juice cartons. Paper and cardboard go into the Blue containers and Glass of all kinds goes into the Green containers, but not ceramic. Organic garbage and everything else that is unclassifiable goes into the regular can.

It does exist I'm just not sure where you take them. Some grocery stores have bins just inside the front doors where you leave them. We live in the GTA & have seen the bins in our area.

My plastic bags get reused for picking up after the dog. I would use bio-degradable ones if they made them smaller but until then it's the grocery bags.

Do you have Kroger in Toronto? If not, look at whatever large chain groc store you have there. Many will accept the plastic bags for recycling.
or
start your own recycling proggy.
