ECW has been a massive flop since its return, which culminated in one of the worst Pay Per Views in wrestling history (December. to Dismember). What can the WWE do to pull ECW out of this mess?
They started yesterday by sweeping away a lot of 'dead wood' wrestlers. Does this mean new talent is on the way? Who would you like to see from OVW? Paul Burchall (with his Dangerous Man gimmick) springs to mind!
Also, I personally would like to see a Hardcore title in ECW. There is definetely still a market for 'garbage wrestling' and ECW could get away with it considering it doesnt have a pre- watershed time slot. It would give ECW originals such as Sandman and Balls Mahoney something to aim for cos they arent gonna get a ECW title shot any time soon!

The only way ECW has a long term future is by bring back some of the orginal ECW wrestlers, introduce the TV title & Tag Team Titles, and maybe have a hardcore title, and also have the hardcore ECW fans in the arena, and have Paul Heyman run the show without interference of Vince McMahon. Otherwise give it months till ECW dies again.

yes ECW has a long term future it hasnt returned 4 long so it just needs time 2 pick up u will see soon that ECW will be just as big as raw or smackdown
nd they will bring bck the hardcore matches nearly all the time
nd i would like mick foely 2 return 2 ecw wid the hardcore title nd they use it on there
nd its roumred that aj styles christoper daniels nd a copule of others r join ECW

I hope not. Im a huge fan of the wwe, and extreemly dissapointed with the new ECW. I dont watch it, and im a big fan of RVD, Lashley, and I also think CM Punk has has great future ahead of him. Sabu is good, but he's not being used right in ECW. I think they should just accept that its failed, scrap it, and move the best wrestlers over to Smackdown/Raw, which would also improve these brands considerably. When a wrestler is moved over to ECW, its like theyre released, coz I lose track of them, and dont see them anymore. It does not intrest me to watch ECW at all. I think they should put RVD back on Raw, theyve missed him. Lashley and CM Punk would be great on smackdown. People like Test, Mike Knox, and Kevin Thorne, should be just got rid of, theyre crap. Kelly Kelly would fit in well on Raw. Holly on smackdown, but as a face, as I think hes a poor heel. Elijah burke would also be good on smackdown.
I say scrap ECW, and move the best talent to Raw and Smackdown.

yes, ECW is set for the long term brother!!!
Mr. mcmahon is hoping to make the new ECW into a contender with smackdown and raw! He always wanted an extra brand and now he has pulled one off, he isn't gonna let it go without a serious fight!

this what i would do change the name ecw it aint ecw and it will never will be ecw really why up fans were so dissapointed we expected harcore blood tables pain trashy wrestling as ecw was but duh wwe owns it so its gonna be the wwe way but with not as good stars except rvd lashley there good so ecw will have a long term future only and i ay ONLY if they change the brand ecw name because that whats making it bad pretending to be ecw when its not.

well hopefully there will be some medium class wrestlers like MVP and like Chris Masters. Would move over to ECW that would be preety cool. OH! and RVD and Sabu might go to TNA wich would make ECW suck even more.

ecw doesn't have a long term future ahead of it vince is messing it up he has alrady released about half the dang ecw roster how is he going to make up for all the lost talent

not if its gonna be the same guys every week.RVD v TEST v LASHLEY yadda-yadda.its ok at 1st but it just gets boring now.
Time to knock ECW on the head, get rid of the useless wrestlers & split the rest up between Raw & S/D.
