I mean if there was a glamorous premiere where the actors came too (signed autographs and stuff)

When star wars was released on May 25th, 1977 it was originally distributed to only 43 theaters.
As it became more popular it was distributed to 757 and then finally 1,750 theaters world wide in its widest release.

Once Star Wars was released it became a phenomenon and its subsquent sequels and prequels all had premieres.

huh? you cant be at a time...and A new Hope came out in 77...empire was 80 and jedi was 83. Usually popular movies do have premieres...post questions that we can understand please.
