Whos better, i think its Kobe for his all around game. and the simple fact that kobe plays defense and wade doesnt, thats what happened in the last game Kobe locked up wade. and wade just played offense. oh i think wade gets to many foul calls, he just runs into people and the reffs blow the whistle, i dont know why he gets so much respect.

Did you guys forget Kobe has won 3 championships, And it wasnt shaq who won them. in the western conference when we played the trilblazers, the kings and the spurs Kobe was the MVP. and we all know the east was a joke in those years and shaq won the mvp in the finals.

well shaq didnt win jack before kobe. and if they didnt have kobe bryant they dont beat the trail blazers in 200, dont beat the kings and Kobe was phenomanil against the Spurs in the western conference finals. And last year was just a horrible year were it was more of wade than shaq who won the finals.

Kobe Bryant is the best of the two, and the best in the league. How the hell can someone say that Wade has better offense, Kobe can score pretty much whenever he wants. He has better defense, and why do people keep saying hes a ball hog when hes giving out more assists this year.

Wade is a bug flopper, of course its going to be fall seven times get up eight when you keep throwing yourself on the floor.

Back to the topic: Dwayne Wade plays the SG better because he's faster, more agile, more accurate from the field, has like twice as many assists per game than Kobe and Dwayne Wade did more for the Miami Heat to win that 2006 NBA championship than Kobe did for any of the Lakers 3 titles. Kobe has defense but Wade has better offense.

It's because Shaq did more for the Lakers than Kobe. He put up more points, he pulled down more rebounds and was a far more dominant player than Kobe.

Wade gets fouls called because he has a skill called taking it to the hole. His speed and agility don't give the defense any time to react so on the defensive attempt they usually always foul him. The calls are legit most of the time. And he never runs into people unless their feet aren't set which is a defensive foul.

And how many rings did Kobe have before Shaq? Also, where were the Heat in terms of standings prior to aquiring O'neal? They were one of the worst 4 teams in the league. Then they got Shaq and right away they were in the playoffs while the Lakers were 'rebuilding'. You're giving Kobe way too much credit. He's a great player and all but he's not the greatest and he's not better than D-Wade. Just wait and see what happens in the playoffs. The Lakers are gonna be one and done in the first round and Kobe's gonna have an average game because he'll be double teamed and won't have a player like Shaq to pull the defenders away from him. Again, it takes 5. Kobe can't do it alone, Wade can't do it alone and MJ couldn't do it alone. However, comparing Wade to Kobe, I'll take Wade. His stats show it and his game shows it. I have to clear this up from the jump start. Shaq is, was, and will always be the reason Kobe has 3 rings. Prior to Shaq coming to LA he put Penny Hardaway and the Orlando Magic on his back and took them to the finals.

He then took Kobe to three.
He then helped D-Wade and Miami get theirs.
How many rings has Kobe won since Shaq's departure? "O"

Kobe is just a flashy entertainer at best. Which is why the Lakers chose to keep him over the guy that got them rings. They now know they made a mistake.

In Kobe's defense I will say that he would beat D-Wade in a game of one-on-one. Kobe's drive and and overall athletic ability would be too much for Wade to handle.

Dwayne Wade is the best in the WORLD.. After 2006 NBA finals and this years Heat and Lakers matchups, how could one say that Kobe is better then Wade? Kobe never in the history of the NBA had a finals performance like Wade did, and in this year matchups Wade killed Kobe. Christmas game Wade had a doulbe-double and the Heat won by a blow out, and on MLK day Wade was unstoppable leading all scores by double digits(He had 35 and the closest person to that had 25) with the Lakers barely winning.
"KOBE LOCKED UP WADE" PLEEEEAAASE! How in the world did Kobe lock up Wade? Wade had 35 points(his avg. is 28.1) 7 points more then his avg. and 8 assit with quite a few stills and rebounds. He scored 19 in the first half and 16 in the second. Both halfs he scored in the higher teens. So I ask again, how did Kobe lock Wade up? Because Kobe or no one in the world could hold Wade. When the Lakers play the Heat Kobe defends Wade, and in the two games they played this year Wade scored above his avg.(x-mas 40 & mlk 35points). That proves Kobe can't stop or hold Wade. But on the other hand Kobe got locked up. X-mas Kobe only scored 16 points and on MLK Kobe scored 25(both below his avg.) That proves Kobe can be stop.
How could anyone say Kobe has better defense? Wade avg. more steals and blocks then Kobe...lol. Isn't steals and blocks defense?
As far as the 81 points goes, I'll bet anyone any amount of money that Kobe would trade that 81 point game for Wade's MVP finals performance. I haven't seen a performance like that in the finals since Michael Jordan was around.
But to sum it all up. Wade is faster, stronger, better drive to the hold, better passer, better defense(steals & blocks), better leader, smarter, create plays better, has way more heart, and also can be a problem from shooting outside(Ask Dallas about that).
The only thing I can say about Kobe is that he has better range from outside and that he's taller. And having better range and being taller doesn't makes you better. Because if that was true Reggie Miller would be better then Michael Jordan, and we all know that isn't true. So I have to go with Dwayne Wade over Kobe Bryant, and if anyone want to comment against what I wrote, please state facts and make since.

Kobe's stock went down after he was accused of that sexual assault. Although he was acquitted of all charges, that kind of stuff still stays with you. It's his attitude that sets him apart from D-Wade. Wade is more humble on and off the court. Kobe is kind of cocky, having run ins with Shaq' and talking bad about him. Both players are Warriors with two different styles of play. Also you never hear Wade talk bad about Shaq and if you think the 3 three championships were all because of Kobe, look again. Check the stats. Shaq is the man. It was when Kobe decided to take upon himself to be a ball hog was the reason they were swept against Detroit in the finals.

yea kobe bryant is a lot better than dwade. u have to remember that people say dwade is more of a team player, but whos actually helping their team win? without shaq, wade is just any other player. wade goes into people out of control with his ball handling and the refs give him the call, even tho he doesnt deserve it. kobe is playing on a team that would be nothing without him, hes almost like steve nash, he made his team into something. dwade has williams, walker, posey, but cant make his team win. its just that wade won a champ, so some people say that hes better. but shaq is the key to miami's success, but without kobe back in they day he wouldnt have won a single champ. and for those of u that say dwade has better offense, ur wrong. dwade has a better supporting team, so he gets more open shots because of so many other threats he could use. kobe has to carry his team to victory while being guarded by at least 3 guys. as for assists, kobe has no supporting offensive threats, but he still manages to get up 5 assists per game. besides, kobe creates plays that lets his team score with more than just one pass.

Dwyane Wade!!!!!!!! I mean the only guy that i've seen play with so much passion with not as good team...Is Allen Iverson. Kobe has he's players, and he's not as a good leader as Dwyane Wade. When things got tough with the Lakers he just blamed it on his teamates. And he wanted to leave the Lakers. This year, when Dwyane Wade is held back by his team, ex. 50pt game against Orlando, it was clearly His team fault the they didn't win the game. They missed open lay-ups, open shots ect. And much more games, he just took the Heat in the interviews, he only says, "we have to do a better job next games", he's not like Kobe that starts tripping everytime he has a good game a still looses!!! And that's what a leader should do, take the hit for their team. But I think he's tie with LeBron James, I mean this 2 guys are impressive. tough call, both are clutch players. kobe is the slightly better shooter, although wade hits when needed. both can get to the basket whenever they want. the only difference i see is that wade is more likely to pass than kobe. kobe feels sometimes that he needs to shoot in crucial situations all the time rather than pass. wade will pass, and his assists stats show that. So i guess wade is the better player.

Dwyane Wade is better than Kobe Bryant currently. Wade gets his whole team into the game, and can also carry the team when they need him. Wade can make shots from anywhere on the court.
