Who cares that it makes plants grow? Well, without the sun, there would be no plants, and without plants, all animal life (including humans) would die.
So, anyone who cares that life exists here at all would care...

Short lesson on sun. Use sunscreen. When I was younger I played tennis a lot and now have a problem with little spots that can turn to cancer. Do it while your young.

I DO!!! I manage a pool and we love the sun! We also love the green grass and flowers around our pool. Without the sun we wouldn't want to be at the pool enjoying it and our grass or flowers and I love my job!!!
