i havent read the whole series but ive read most of them..out of order lol..id like to read through the whole series in order once, maybe it'd make more sense..but i still enjoy them, i just find myself always hoping that just maybe itll turn out alright for the baudelaires..but it never really does does it..*sigh*

Frankly, no. the author seems to sense a real (no longer pretend) contempt for his readers. He comes for the era of as a real jerk, and that i believe absolutely everyone who buys his books is the butt of the shaggy dog tale.

Very good but NEVER, NEVER chain them together. It tends to show all the little tricks he uses.
However, it is still a wonderful series.
