Hey folks- I think he's refering to the UK.

Hey mate, I doubt any of us (even in the US) can boycott much to get our elected leaders to pull their heads out of ther rear-ends.
Voting them out is about the only thing possible-- well, and mass letters, calls and protests speaking out on their policies.

I'd bet that the UK has just as much lobbying as the US does.

Perhaps if there we were all united in boycotting the paying of council tax, I believe everything would collapse very quickly. There is no way the Government could prosecute 40-50 odd million people who pay this tax. The government would have to give in because they would be powerless to stop it.

You could start by boycotting companies who do business in the occupied Six Counties of Ireland and steadfastly refuse to abide by the McBride Principles.

trey parker and matt stone showed us that our own ignorance and need for instant gratification denies us from doing something like that effectively. i tried to stop buying mcdonalds, but where else could i get three double cheeseburgers, small fries and a large drink for under five bucks?

if enough people would do it we could ALL stop paying taxes...we would need to put the money in escrow somewhere to show our intent..... but middle-class Americans have never bucked the govt. but then our government has never been so blatently corrupt!
