you could actually call microsoft since you paid for a retail box

the way around that process though is you don't need a code....you need a program which removes the activation process.

forward your email and i'll shoot it over to you if you want it

If indeed your story is true just call Microsoft.

Hold on to the "activation code printed on the piece of paper" .... because there is no such thing.

Activation codes are issued online or via telephone relative to the didgital signature of your mainboard ... THEY ARE NOT PREDIFINED !

... you bought a pirated copy of Windows.

You came to the wrong place looking for illegal information. There can be problems for those helping you to do this. Use open Office or Libre Office instead. They're both free and will work with Microsoft software.

Call Microsoft.
Honestly, Just do what they tell you to the extent you can, and they'll give you a code to use. It's that simple

also, I've heard that not entering doesn't even do anything.

If you purchased the Software legally, and can prove it, MS will give you an activation code FREE, just call their toll free number

Then you installed it too many times and went over the licenses allowed. To fix, contact Mircosoft support. They will have your registration information and can help you out.
