no not always sometimes we have to lie to get out from a problem

but also not in every situation we must lie see

their is tow type of lies a white lie and a black lie

the white lie it can be said in the normal situation such as
if your friend ask u if you read the book that she told you about
and you didn't in that case your answer will be yes and it's interesting in that point you will safe you self form a non finishing conversation about the book or you will tell her i didn't have time
these simple lies to safe your water face in a simple situations called white lies

about the dark lies which leads to a complete disaster because the reason from these dark lies is to destroy someone else life or to hurt him in any way is possible in a mean and harsh way in that case the truth is the best and the honest is the best of the best

however there is say in my country

the lie is a short rope

and trust me no matter how the truth is hard to anyone and you is its for his or her best you should tell them and that will make you a caring loving person in their eyes

if you lied all the time that mean your life is a lie too so always moderate and try to tell the truth when it needed

Telling the truth is not always a virtue. Your motive behind telling the truth is what counts. Suppose you are a doctor and you tell a heart patient that he is just about to die. Would it be considered a right thing to do? Your friend is happily married but his wife was your ex-girl friend would you tell him the truth? Truth that can hurt an innocent person is a sin in my opinion.

Of course not, that's why we were given the free will in the first place. There are situations in life that will only be worstened by the truth, not to mention times that people need to be able to move on without knowing the truth. Like if you broke up with someone, you wouldn't necessarily need to know if they cheated on you, because what you need to be focusing on is moving on.

well put it this way!! do you want others to tell you the truth?? if yes then you have the answer!!if no think about this,, the more you lie,the more lies you have to make to cover the first one,and the next thing you know you have a friend lying for you and so on. deal with the truth now and deal with what ever comes your way!! what ever it is the sooner you deal with it,the sooner you can continue forward with a clear mind and heart.. good luck!!

Telling the truth means to deliver the facts in a beneficial way. If you are telling, then tell the truth. But the wise person knows when to tell, and when not to tell. It isn't a question of telling a lie, it is a question of telling.

No, I work with Alzheimer's people. If they are happy at the place they are in their mind I let them stay there and just play along. if They ask "where is my mother" it would be very upsetting to them if I told them "she died" and they may ask me that several times a day, that would be needless torture. I will usually say something like "It's raining outside your mother knows your here she wants you to stay with us tonight, we have a nice room for you." Of course sometimes it's not raining and I have to think of something else. Being hurtfully deceptive is another story though. But if telling the truth is going to needlessly hurt someone I see nothing wrong with a white lie.

I believe that we must tell the truth when it comes to matters of substance; I do believe that telling a "white" or "social" lie is perfectly ok when done to spare someone's feelings. I would certainly distinguish this from a malicious lie, which would be intended to harm or deceive someone.
