Hey Guys and Girls, I Live in LA.. And i've been trying to find chinese food but in those cool boxes that you see on Tv.. Everytime i go to a chinese place they have the regular white foam plates to go or wutever there called. I wanna know if anyone knows any place that will give you chinese food in this boxes.. looked around and haven't found a chinese place that gives there to go order like that.. anyknow know where i can get some chinese food in boxes? Lol

Next time you order ask them to put your food in the boxes instead of the plate.
I'm sure they have the boxes.

I get what you are saying...you wanna eat noodles out of a chinese food to-go box, not a styrafoam container. That could be any type of food, cake, leftover hamburgers...I get it.
I live close to LA but dont have any clue as to which restruants use the boxes vs the foam contaniers.
The place i go to in Ventura (way too far for you!) Lee's, they have the boxes-No metal handles like in the old days tho, microwaves changed all that.
Do you order a whole meal? Maybe that's why you get the container with sections, one spot for your rice, one for your chow fun, one for your orange chicken....Try to order side dishes, like 1 order of beef chow fun, 1 order of kung pao chicken, etc. Then see if you get the little boxes. But go to a different place, not the same old places.
And, you really should be going for the food and not the boxes..but I totally get it!

If you are ever in Panama City, Florida, there is a tiny Chinese restaurant called China Wok - they deliver their food in the boxes w/ chopsticks :)

Hmm I live in Michigan but the local chinese restaurant we go to always gives us our entire order in those boxes.

PF-Chang's gives you the boxes when u ask for your food to go, but just make sure you let the waitress know....Good luck!!

go to panda inn,and order food a la cart,they will put the food and those boxes,if you order combinations they won't they will use the other boxes

not that many places have them anymore. you should be going fot the food, not the boxes! just buy them somewhere and bring them to the restaurant.
