Best State?

I want to move out of state for college but i have never been anywhere else expect CO and Nigeria. I am looking for something close to Nigeria, temperature wise and friendly people with lots of diversity.

I have no idea what Nigeria is like but look into University of Arkansas at Fayetteville - very diverse, easy to get around, very little snow and if it does, it won't be around for long. You will have 4 moderate seasons, no long lasting extremes and Arkansas is beautiful.
