Help. Someone I dislike very much took my cat and dropped it off about 15-20 miles away from my house. I have searched for him. What are the chances of him finding his way home. He is 6 and we have lived in the same house all his life..

it is a very good chance your cat is making his way home my cat has followed us while we walk our dog or take my son to the park he usually get spooked by something and disappears an hour or so later he would be back home also a ranch cat we have had been taken to Washington he was last seen in Washington at his new home about 3 mos later we found him back it the ranch in California just keep calling his name and looking for him try walking towards the area he was dropped off as far as you can go keep going back to the area he was dropped check shelters and if there are homes in the area he was dropped check with them because if he was a friendly cat he might have looked for a human to feed him
good luck

He should be able to. Cats are good at finding their way back. Every cat I've ever had has been able to do it.

Aww I can't believe this! If someone did this to my cat...I'd beat their ***! My cat goes outside and wanders..then comes home. I really hope your cat will find his way home.

A cat will more often than not return to the place where it is fed.
