myself: Charles Bukowski- used to be really into him, but i think he used to be genuine, but it created an image of him which he then had to be more and more catch up to; his later interviews seemed staged to me, and 'Animal Crackers' is a sick story even for him!

Remember what an alcoholic he was. There is no human being who can drink like that for as long as he did and not eventually manifest deterioration, including artistically. For a while, it works in that it inspires and bolsters but sooner or later, this is such a destructive disease . To answer your question, the first actor who comes to my mind is Tom Cruise although if I sat and thought about it longer, I'm sure I'd be able to come up with more.

I would say Bill Cosby. His images depicted by the media as a loving family man, including his comedy show was exaggerated. I was totally disgusted regarding his treatment of the opposite sex,which was on more than one occasion. Since then I haven't been able to watch anything of his. He was not only unfaithful , but acted in a criminally deviant manner.
