Ok, I am not sure what is witht he cook/freeze comment, and your right gravity does not have anything to do with the earth spinning ( although the spinning does exert a force on us toward the earth's center called centripital force). However, if you mean an all of a sudden complete stop if the earths rotation around its axis ( which is impossible to happen, BUT if it could and did) your rotational inertia would keep you going, everything on the earth would shift in the direction of the Earths rotation in a very violent, destructive and cataclysmic way.

No. In fact, you'd be ever so slightly heavier.

The Earth's mass and yours creates the gravity that keeps you anchored to the Earth. The spinning of the Earth provides a centrifugal force that counters the force of gravity. The force of gravity is a lot stronger, though.

It depends if it stopped slowly then no, but if it stopped all of a sudden then I would go flying at about 30,000 mph and probably say "oh crap!"

You can do an experiment. Go to the playground and find one of those spinning merry go round things. Have your friends spin it fast and then slowly stop it. You stop too. Next have them spin it really fast, then have one of your friends shove a car bumper into it so it stops suddenly and see what happens to you.

in a word, no. Gravity is not exerted on us through the spinning of the Earth. It is the mass of the planet pulling us toward it.
