I think that you very much have the idea that this is not a request that he should be making of you. It's your wedding too and if your guests feel comfortable, you feel comfortable. You and he should sit down either on your own or with the DJ and discuss the play list in detail. This may seem time consuming and trite when you've got so much else to do but the fact of the matter is that this is a 50/50 deal and you have just as much right to your preferences as he does. I'm not entirely clear what you mean b 'Spanish' music, but may I suggest a variety of all music. With the wide variety of musicians out there you can find something to please all parties involved with some work on your parts. You're uniting two people that day, why not unite two play lists too?

Yes do it.
he had a wedding outdoors and he had "du hast" not when they walking down the isle but after during the reception and it was very sweet indeed.

too him it's wrong to me its left

Find a girl / guy mostly girl special enough to compromise something like that and the wedding doesn't matter.

If the guy/gal paying the bill wants it...then its played. Now for a guest to request and it be honor is a stretch. The DJ should check with the bride/groom/guy paying bill before playing questionalbe request.

I can't see why it would be a problem either lyrically or musically. It's simply a matter of personal taste.

If you had ever seen the video to this song you wouldn't. It's disgusting. Used to love that song, mainly for the guitar sound until I saw the video. Kinda makes me want to hurl now.
