Regarding...........fewer words........same meaning

I don't believe either of those are legal terms, and I don't see much of a difference.

Normally, one sees "In Re" in a case heading. For example, "In Re the Marriage of Joan Smith and John Smith" where "RE" is used in a letter or memo heading: "RE: Your past due account"

They mean the same thing. You can access a legal dictionary by doing a Yahoo! search with the term "legal dictionary."
