If they have not done it already, they won't. who gains from letting Tom coach? who knows, but I feel that he may be one of those mid-season replacement jobs.

OK....
1st of all, its "prima donnas". Dont use italian lingo if you dont know how.
2ndly, this question is moot: They ARE keeping him. It was announced, like, a week ago. Read the papers.

I DO agree with you that a lot of players dont respect him, i'll give you that much, and i think keeping him WAS a mistake.
But theyre probably going to let his contract lapse and THEN not take him back. Two reasons for this:
A) They wont have to buy him out for leaving with time left on his contract with them.
B) Theyll save their money to buy out Charlie Weis from Notre Dame, or wait for Bill Cowher to come back to the NFL looking for a job in one year's time (when Coughlin's contract expires).

I don't think they will. I heard on the news his contract was renewed for another year. Check nfl.com or the nygiants website. Sorry!

They already signed him up for next year. He will be fired after next season if he doesn't have a big year.

they gave him a one year contract extension so they can fire him next season, and try to go sign Cowher.
