but it is all of media that is to blame.
magazines, television, film industry, actors, etc. all have a hand in it.

I think that people choose to be anorexic for themselves, until there is a point it becomes too difficult to quit. The fashion industry and media has something to do with it, but there is much much more to it, I would think.

I think there are other factors, but I think the fashion industry has alot to do with it. Especially for those that truly look up to models and want to be JUST LIKE THEM.

No way. People have to start taking responsibility for their own actions and stop blaming tv, heavy metal music, the movies, and everyone and thing but themselves.

YES - they demand that the girls be skinny - look at the clothes they model. A "normal" woman could never fit into anything they wear.

Other. While they are part of the problem, "we" the consumers are the cause of it. Incredibly skinny models wouldn't have a job if "we" the consumers didn't buy it.

mostly girls wanna be skinny b-cuz they think they're fat and ugly most of the time and they think that if they don't eat they'll get skinny, most of the time not becauz they wanna fit into clothes.
