My sister just found out that she is having her first baby. She is very excited but also very worried at the same time. She doesn't have any breasts!! She lost her breasts many years ago in a nasty slip n slide accident in our parents backyard. Ever since then she has been breastless but has managed to lead a pretty normal life. Now that she is pregnant how will her baby eat? She doesn't want to give the baby formula but she doesn't want to starve the baby either. Help please! What can she do?

Your sister should be able to buy some used umbilical cords and feed them to the baby.

that's some slip n slide accident.
she'll have to go with formula - no way to get breasts back if they are gone, and i don't think there are any wet nurses around these days.

It has on no account befell to me yet i've got considered this on ''maternity ward'' lots, they continuously have surgical operation while the toddler is born & they get each and every thing interior, the toddler is many times superb, i wish all of it seems ok God Bless

She may have to use a bottle & formula. I understand that she doesnt want to, but she may have to. There are Lipid formulas that contain the same ingredients as breast milk....she may want to use one of those as a subsitute.

im not a midwife but iguess that when you are pregnant your breasts change drematically so you can feed your baby, but dont worry if you cant you can use alternative methods of feeding,,,,,,,,both my children were prematyure so they could never latch on properley so i had to bottle feed both of mine......pklease dont worry itwill all come out right in the endxxxxxxxgood luck
