i'm up to the 4 blade system, and i still eed to shave twice a day

Shave in the shower. The moisture and the steam make the whiskers stand right up. I use the Mach System from Gilette and their shaving cream. I lather up first thing, wash everything else, and shave last. I used to have your same problem until I did this.

Shave against the grain( UP instead of down) for a closer shave.
As for shaving twice a day you have your genes to blame.

Try the new Gillette 20 blade system with weed whacker attachment. It rips the whiskers right out of your face!

Try to make your face hot with a hot towel to open the pores and relax the hairs so that they lay down and when the razor goes on the hair, its cut it off right down.
