I have some black pants that are 77% Rayon, 20% Nylon & 3% Spandex. The problem is mostly around the butt of the pants, that there are tiny rubber band-like things coming out of the fabric. It's in other areas as well, from wear, but when I wear them, you can see these white little stretchy things, I guess it's the Spandex? Is there any way to fix this.....? I hope I made sense, any help is appreciated! Thank you!

I'm afraid it is time for a new pair of pants sweetie, that is the spandex wearing out, there is no way to fix it. Sorry, I'm sure they're your favorite pair too, that happened to my favorite ones too.

it is the spandex wearing out and breaking down. As somebody else mentioned, you can't really do anything about it except buy new pants. I really don't care for clothing with spandex in it I try to buy natural fibers as much as possible. They last longer.

I have a feeling that this is occuring because you have washed the pants. If you would have dry-cleaned them, that would not have happened. If you have dry-cleaned them, i'm sorry to say that you're pants are ruined. If you have just bought them, TAKE THEM BACK! I'm sorry I can't be of more help, but this is the truth.

that is the elastic in the fabric. i have a big butt, so i have this problem a lot, too. there is really nothing you can do, it's time to toss them and get a new pair. all that means is that the elastic that was threaded within the fabric has come undone. there's really no way to rethread it into it.
