Call your local community college and see what they charge. You can also find this in the ads of a local newspaper (most of the time). It's really hard to tell you on a forum like this because I do not know what other people in the area are charging. I would suggest maybe $10 an hour, but you do not want ot make your prices WAY over OR under what others in your area are charging.

It depends on where you live. I'm in a very affluent area, and the local tutoring agencies charge over a hundred dollars an hour. I charge $60 and could easily charge more. I know there are places where this would not be acceptable. Do some research about your area and make your determination on that.

for elementary school kids, i would say $15 to $20, unless you have a lot of experience which i dont think u do. You could also ask the parents how much they feel the appropriate amount would be.

If you are a certified teacher you should charge a minimum of $20 to $30 hour. People pay $50 an hour or more for plumbers, electricicans, etc. So do not sell yourself short.

It depends on your reasons for tutoring. If you're doing it for charitable reasons than a lower price might be good. However, I think an average rate is about 10 dollars an hour.
