My Best Friends sister is only 15 and was caught having sex with a much older man, she claims it is love. Is it possible to know so early on in life ? It is becoming a problem.

Let me just add, that we have taken an injunction out against the man, and sent her to therapy, but she is insistant that she loves him. He is a waiter at the local hangout and she keeps sneaking out of the house to see him while her mom is at work ( she works late shifts)

oh, yes, They live with me, so, yes, it is very much in my back yard what is going on here. It has been going on for almost 6months.

The man should be bloody arrested. Thats just not right. Its easy to sway the minds of the young which is why I object to older people having younger partners. Its control not love but the little ones don't know it. I suspect if she is just allowed to get on with it it will fizzle out. Making it naughty is making it attractive to a 15 year old. She is one of those girls who will learn the hard way!

it is possible it could b love,but more likely to b infatuation.kids seem to b thinking they are grown up at a younger and youger age,she shouldnt be with sum1 alot older theres a good chance thing will go very wrong,but most 15 year old will do what they wana do regardless!!!! he should no better thow he should b with a girl of 15,theres a reason y it isnt legal to have sex til ur 16!!!! i would put a stop to it!!!!!!!

Who can what is and what is not love????? At that age it is a good bet that it is not and that it is a crush on an older man (hey remember she is underage!!!), she needs someone to talk to her in a calm and cival manner then all can decide where to go from there.

I suggest you get your best friend to talk to her sister, and say that unless she stops it she will tell their parents. Its nothing to do with you, unless the girl tells you herself. Plenty of 15 year olds are quite capable of sorting out their own sex lives and will be sensible out contraception too. Its worrying that its an older guy, but really it isnt your business and i cant see what you can do, other than what i suggest.

the girl needs to seek some counseling, she is crying out for some kind of attention that she is not getting at home, and the guy needs to be reported because what he did with her is illegal especially since she is underage....
