No sorry on the 5th gen Ipod Videos can but there is a way. something called Linux will play videos on a nano but it MAY damage ur ipod and it will be toast its ur chance id say no cuz its not worth loosing the money u paid for ur nano

IPOD NANO DOESN;T SUPPORT VIDEOS
SO U CAN'T PLAY BACK VIDEO FILES WITH IPOD ANANO
THOUGH U CAN ALWAYS TRANSFER VIDEO FILES TO IPOD NANO FOR STORING IT OR TRANSFERING IT TO ANOTHER COMPUTER
