Hey, I need a scary-*** movie to pick up to watch, something not supernaturally-based (not ghosts or anything - UNLESS IT'S VAMPIRES!)

A movie on either Vampires that is GENUINELY scary, or a movie on a real thing but about a killer PERSON, like American Psycho: American Girl, or something on the Columbine Massacres, something like that?

Cheers!

x

Near Dark

You will not go wrong if you haven't seen it. Its quite hard to find though but is possibly the best vampire film from the past 40 years.

Failing that - The Descent

Try The Texas Chainsaw Massacre The Beginning and if you haven't seen the first one that one too. It's based on a true story. The beginning is really the first but it came out second and has a lot of graphic gore and blood. If you have a weak stomach don't eat before you watch it.

Monster is based on the first female serial killer to be put to death. There are some out there on John Wayne Gacy, Jeffrey Dahlmer and various others. Do a search on their names for the exact movie titles.

In Cold Blood....Truman Capote wrote the book about the real-life murders at a farmhouse in Kansas. He spent years interviewing the murderers, and had a lot of insight into their motivation, and got many of the details of the murders through them.

It was originally released in 1967, but was remade in 1996. The 1967 version is rated R, but the 1996 version is unrated, so I suspect it's a little more gruesome.

Witnesses are allowed to video reveal those video clips--it truly is, staring at an R-rated action picture isn't grounds for disfellowshipping (expulsion/shunning). yet, Witnesses are strongly advised now to not view such video clips. If it became properly-universal that a member of the congregation oftentimes watched R-rated video clips, that Witness might want to be sternly advised and can want to lose any positions in the congregation (e.g., ministerial servant, elder, pioneer, etc.). and that i ought to believe my previous acquaintance "Poto" on the topic of large. i have universal Poto for the reason that he went by different names at the same time with Wink Winkleman, Bob Loblaw, Tobias Funke, The Tron, Animal, etc. we do not many times agree, yet in this celebration he's genuine that giant is a PG-thirteen action picture. yet i do not realize why he persists in replacing his call so many times. One plausible clarification is that he's embarrassed. does no longer marvel me. Thumbs-up for Wink!

If you can find it, I would suggest Last House on the Left.I believe it was Wes Craven's first flick and it is worth checking out.The movie has a grainey, 16MM look to it(it was made in 1972) and that adds tremendously to the suspense of the film.Good stuff.

Hello there!!

I recommend you Australian Movie "Wolf Creek" it is based on true events and it is amazing or "Are You scared?" which is an amazing horror film which is bit similar to "Saw" , just similar because this killer is worst than Jigsaw but it is not based on true events.
