A 6" Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki Subway sandwich has 1220 mg of sodium. The current US recommendation is to consume less than 2,400 milligrams (mg) of sodium a day (the UK Recommended Nutritional Intake (RNI) for sodium is even lower at 1,600 mg). Thus, you're consuming half of your RDA of sodium in that one sandwich.
"A ... clinical study, called "DASH-Sodium," looked at the effect of a reduced dietary sodium intake on blood pressure.... Results showed that reducing dietary sodium lowered blood pressure.... The biggest blood pressure-lowering benefits were for those eating the DASH eating plan at the lowest sodium level (1,500 milligrams per day)."

Anything with the word teriyaki, or soy sauce is high in salt.
Salt will raise the blood pressure. You should also stay away from red die #40
I was taking care of an old man that was the third person with a defibrillator. The heart specialist said you can eat anything you want just stay away from the two.
