There has never been anyone ever, in human existance, that hasn't gone through their whole school life fancying at least one of their teachers.
It's part of growing up. If you like him, chances are that someone else in one of his classes like him too. He does know, yes, becuase schoolkids are terrible liars. But he is flattered by it and hopes it helps you pay attention in class.
Trust me.

What you have is called by several names. One is infatuation and another is "puppy love". Know this also that the laws in the US state that it is illegal and immoral for an adult (18) to have sex with a minor (under 18) and most call it statutory rape. If you carry on, you will cause him and your family a great deal of harm and maybe have him lose his job, be sent to jail and worse.
I think you need to find out what true love is and isn't. Read in the Bible, I Corinthians 13 "The Love Chapter" where it says love is patient and kind and seeks not its own way at the expense of others. This love is such that it will gladly give its own life to save the life of another. If love dies, it wasn't love in the first place, but something else. True love has kept my wife and I married for over 28 years.
I don't think you have this kind of love. You should drop the whole thing and concentrate on passing your tests. Later, when you are older, date someone your own age and develop true love.
