The gamecube controller will work on all of the VC games that are released so far. when you go to buy a game on the VC it will show you what controllers are compatible with it. I suggest buying a wavebird or any other wireless controller because you dont want to drop the wii when the controller is plugged into the top. but yeah it does work for all the games on the VC

Actually, I believe the Gamecube controller will work for Virtual Console games.

Yes it can. I was playing Street Fighter II the other day using the gamecube controller. I prefer the classic controller tho...because it feels more familiar for that type of game.

When you download a game for the virtual console...it will tell you the type of controllers you can use. Most can use the GC one, and a few NES games can even use the wii controller.

Yes, the classic controller is just a replacement for the gamecube control because they no longer sell the gamecube controller.

yes, for some of the games. when you go to the download this game screen, right next to the picture of the game you are downloading, are pictures of different controllers. either the wii controller, the wii classic controller, or the gamecube controller. if that game has a gamecube controller next to it, you can use it. hope this helps
