If its a union gig like on Broadway you get union wage. Like any union you get more the longer your in. You can call the Local or talk to any working player on how to get a card. If it's a non union play at your local or regional theater the price is going to range from an hourly fee $35.00hr to a straight gig price $ 100.00 to 300.00 a show. Most small theaters have a limited musician budget. If you have the chops and live near NY.You got to get a card and start making contacts.The best references are guys that are already working there. in canada: 250-1000 (depending how you were hired) us 500-1500 us. usually i am talking about octrstra and musical.
