it depends on what software you have at your disposal, do you have xtree gold or similar?? you see if a program is removed from your registry or c: drive it doesnt mean it is actually destroyed it is only marked as "free space" in the other words the information is still there but it is in "limbo"
The easiest way is to just get the original disks and to re-install it

If u use windows me or xp then your computer will have system restore on it. Use this to bring your computer back to the time when you had norton security on it.

You will have to reinstall it from the CD. When you "remove" a program like that, it is totally removed from your computer.

option #1: reinstall it if u have it
if u don't then buy one
option#2: Download the trial and if it ask you every some day to buy it don't
go to renew click the dropdown arrow and put the highest amount of days and repeat this as many times needed

i wouldn't bother, downlaod AVG free, its better anyway, and then zone alarm and either ad-aware or spybot search and destroy.

Anything with Norton on the box sucks donkey balls.

if u have a disc install it back onto the computer using the disc.
norton can be a pain but its good but so is AVG Free.
