be yourself, don't be afraid to make a fool of yourself so she can laugh, and just stay cool. Just be friendly, not all nervous. If she rejects, just say "ok, I really wanted to, but that's ok."
Good luck :)

Repeat after me. "Natasha, will you go to the dance with me?" No, seriously. That's all you can do. Just hope for the best. If she says no, turn around and ask her best friend out of spite.
P.S.- Not that it really matters, but do you know that you posted this question under "Careers & Employment?"
Anyways, good luck dude.

Here is some real advice.
NEVER do the following things
- Act nice
- Act sweet
- Bring flowers, chocolate, gifts
- Act chivilrous
- Write, paint, play, or compose any type of art
- Act as if you have feelings for her
- Portray any intellenge over a 5th grade level
These are ways you ensure yourself of getting a friend card
Do the following things
- Act like a jerk
- Be loud, boistrous and dominant
- Act as if you dont care, or her going to the dance with you is not important.
- Act hypermasculine
- Be rude, uncourteous, and contemptive to authority figures
- Act stupid and uneducated
These are the ways you get a girl and keep her. Not trying to be rude, but this is the truth, tried and true.

You do the following
-Hi my name is Alec, how are you?
-Then talk about what you have in common/ recent events etc
- compliament her a bit
- Be polite and curtious
- Then ask her if she would like to go with you to the dance.
If she says no it doesn't matter. If you don't ask you'll never know what might of happened. Just ask her and forget about what everyone else thinks. Its what u want that matters!

ask her friends about what she likes. when you find out, get a gift for her relating to whatshe likes. ask very sweetly. get to know her better and better. talk to her. if she says no, you have two options. one, give up, or two, give her a bouqet of flowers, chocolates, and a teddy bear. it's sappy but works every time. :-)

um. you are in the wrong category. but anyway... you should tell her you like her and u'd like to take her to the dance. Be nice, friendly, and honest, not weird, rude or tooo direct.
