I live in Vegas, the Buffet Capital of the universe and I have to say, they are absolutely gross. There's one at Bally's for $75/ person with Caviar, champagne, lobster, etc...
Still sucks.

Buffets with good tasty food, are great, what other kind of meal can you sample such a large variety of food. The only problem is that I tend to think "I have to eat my money's worth" and I'll eat until I can't move. Vegas buffets (I live there) and all you can eat sushi are the best.

Complete waste of time and money... sub-standard food, causes increasing waistlines since people never watch their portion sizes at a buffet, have to wait in line and have to witness people double-dipping at the buffet counters!

The food is NEVER as hot as I want hot food to be, so I hate it.
A dessert buffet is great because, as long as the ice cream doesn't melt, the temps of the rest of the stuff is immaterial.

kinda nassty and a waste of money cuz i don't usually go for seconds... and it's never hot enough and somebody has already eaten what i wanted in the first place... plus it's a breeding ground for bacteria...

i'm not a big fan, we went to a chinese one last night. everything sits forever and looks barely recognizable by the time you go to eat it.
