I have a Hyundai Santa Fe with tires size 235/60R18. I'll be travelling with full load in haighways but also pebbles roads. The user manual says min 30 max 32 psi, but I didn't have it in the moment I charged air and the service man insisted in 35 psi... what do you think? Is the pressure OK? (Sometimes with the 30 psi pressure I see tha tires like too "soft", so maybe he is all right...

Your fine with that pressure. If you plan on driving longer distances than normal and carrying more weight in the vehicle as usual than having a little more air in the tires will only help fuel mileage and handling in most terrain. For an 18 inch tire I find it hard to believe that the max pressure would be 32PSI. Are you sure you read that right? If you look on the side wall of one of your tires, the max PSI is listed in raised small print. There is alot of writing on the side walls and can be hard to find but it is there.Don't go by the manual,go by whats printed on the tire itself.I am sure the max load should be around 35 to 40 PSI. GO check, you will know for sure.

35 should be no problem - you just don't want them to be too low. The reason that they put the 32 psi number in there is to assure that you have a "softer" ride. You could probably go up to 40 psi if you wanted to, but it will compromise the ride comfort. I too would go with the 35 psi to insure better resistance to the gravel/pebble road surfaces. Just keep them between 32 psi and 40 psi and that way your tires will last longer.

Depends.
The manual says 32 max but that is with cold tires.
If he adjusted your air pressure to 35 and the tires are warm then you are going to be ok.
If they are at 35 when the tires are cold then they will get up too high.
30 is too low.
The user manual is written for the tires that came with the vehicle. Have you purchased new ones?
It should also say on the side of the tire the recommended pressure.
Good luck.

my tire pressure varies by 30psi depending on what I'm doing.
recommendations are just that, its not law. if you have a full load and your going a long distance i would pump up to about 40 for better mileage.
