And since it's obviously not sperm that's caused by it, what is it?

There have been a number of studies done on the fluid expelled during female ejaculation to determine the chemical makeup. Through chemical analysis the expelled fluid has been found to contain the following:

glucose (a natural sugar) and fructose (another natural sugar, also found in the prostatic fluid of semen)

prostate-specific antigen (PSA), the fluid produced by males which forms the base of male ejaculate, produced by the prostate gland, and in females, believed to be generated by Skene's glands

very low levels of creatinine and urea (the two primary chemical markers of urine, found in high levels in pre- and post-ejaculatory urinalysis).[3]

Female ejaculation (colloquially known as squirting or gushing) refers to the expulsion of noticeable amounts of clear fluid, always from the urethra during sexual stimulation at or near orgasm.

Female ejaculation is accomplished by stimulation of the g-spot (the urethral sponge, named after Dr. Ernest Gräfenberg), an area on the front vaginal wall. More rarely, it can be accomplished through external stimulation of the clitoris alone, the internal tissue of the clitoris then contracting and stimulating the urethral tissue.

I think it's just called c u m. when it was tested in a labratory it was found to be 99.5% identical to male seminal fluid minus the sperm. It's produced by the bartholin's glands, which are just the female version of males cowpers glands, and cowpers glands are what produces seminal fluid in men, before it mixes with sperm to form semen.
Ypu'd be surprised how may body parts men and women actually share, we all start off the same sex and then go one way or the other at about 8 weeks. Testicles are ovaries that just dropped. Seminal vescile tubes are falopian tubes, and the scrotum is prety much the uterus that's dropped out of the vagina turned inside out. Sounds weird but that's how we develop. Men have nipples incase they would have become girls and needed to develop breasts later. Women have clitorises incases they would have become boys and needed to develop a penis later. Yes a clitoris is a useless(technically, although many women find great use for it) stunted penis, just like male nipples are useless stunted breasts. So women have these glands that can produce seminal fluid incase they would have become male and needed to. Sometimes these glands develop quite a bit and can produce fluid, but most times they don't. Sometimes a womans clitoris develops quite a bit and can look like a mini penis, but most times they don't. Sometimes mens breasts can develop into "man boobs" but most times they don't. It depends on how much of certain types of hormones your body produces and how your body responds to them

What a man ejaculates is semen. It contains sperm, as well as a lot of other stuff.

Female ejaculation isn't really well understood, since it seems to happen only with a fraction of women. It may be vaginal fluid, it may be urine, or it may be something else altogether. We just don't know. In any case, it's just referred to as female ejaculation.

I don't think that a female orgasm is well understood at this moment in time, the man's orgasm has alot more information known about it.
