I'm not giving my personally viewpoint here, just asking the question of others.

No more than voting for a Catholic (Kennedy) or Jewish (Lieberman). It's their qualifications not religious background, Obama just doesn't have the credentials needed for president.

Harvard is a Muslim school?

Actually, I would feel that it's a plus - the more we know of other people, the less we are likely to make the kinds of stupid mistakes we have been making in the Middle East. We need a few more Islam experts in the higher reaches of government, and there is no evidence that Obama is a fundamentalist Muslim. Now THAT would scare me! A fundamentalist anything would scare me...

From what I know of the man, he is a spectacularly well-educated and intelligent person with a genuine concern for other people. I haven't read anything that would make me think he's not a true patriotic American.

I might or might not vote for him - he's a bit inexperienced. On the other hand, I've been reading Lincoln biographies lately, and found out that Lincoln never had ANY management job before becoming President. He was just a spectacularly well-educated and intelligent person with a genuine concern for other people.

Hmmm....

If I were American I would vote for him or Hillary. The country needs change and I beleive that they can bring it.

Much of the world have the worst perception of Americans just as many Americans perceive the worst muslim religion. Perception is not reality, educate yourself before judging.

As in everything, people should be judged by their individual actions. I'm sure many things about Obama will come to light that people are not ready to accept but there are many more people in power that support the NRA. Guns kill more American then Muslims have or ever will.

His step-father forced him to go to that school. What could he do? He was just a child but that doesn't mean he believes the things the Muslim religion dictates. I wouldn't vote for Obama because of his stand on many issues and the fact that he is politically empty.

Since he never did, your question is ridiculous.

But if he did attend a Muslim school, it wouldn't influence my vote one bit. Whether or not he would make a good president should be the deciding factor? Would he be good for the country, where does he stand on the issues? These are the meat and potatoes that should determine one's vote.

NO. The fact that people are already saying that Obama is a muslim is totally disturbing.

People are stupid and will believe anything. That is how Bush got in office and has been able to make manipulate everyone.

Not for a second. But more to the point, this question is borderline libelous, as it is not a fact that Obama went to a Muslim school, but rather Occidental College and Harvard University. Take your neocon propaganda someplace else.

BTW, have you stopped beating your wife yet?

If he attended a real Muslim school, that fact alone would not prevent me from considering to vote for him. It is his apparent connection with the Nation of Islam (Calypso Louie Farrakhan's racist group) that troubles me.

Genuine Muslims are not racists. The Nation of Islam is a racist, political group. There are some white-supremest organizations that mask as Christian churches. I put them in the same category as the Nation of Islam.

Absolutely not. Not all Muslims are terrorists, any more than all Christians bomb abortion clinics. I'll have to do more research on Obama, but his religion alone has nothing to do with whether or not I'll vote for him.
