In my oppinion, I think that the best place to look for a surrogate would be in the family. If your family understands what you are going through and are very supportive and are okay with it, see if one of them could do it. I got the Mirena IUD put in 3 yrs ago in Nov. and my doc said that if it turned out that I couln't carry to surrogate. My older sister has 3 of her own and told me that when we try again and it doesn't work out... That she would do it for me and my husband. With it being someone in the family carring for you... You also have a higher chance that the surrogate wouldn't change their mind at the last minute and decide to keep the baby. If you would like to know some info on a good doc that could do a good job and not charge an arm and a leg...feel free to ask. I could e-mail you his info.

Is this what you are really looking for? Do you want them to carry a child born from your egg and husbands sperms? Or her egg and your husbands sperm? I guess if you figure those out you can search on google.
Here is one place to start. Good luck!

Surrogacy is a third party reproduction arrangement whereby a woman agrees to become pregnant for the purpose of gestating and giving birth to a child for others to raise. She may be the child's genetic mother or not, depending on the type of arrangement agreed to.
The word surrogate, from Latin surrogatus (substituted), means appointed to act in the place of.
A surrogate mother is a woman who carries a child for a couple or single person with the intention of giving that child to that person/people once the child is born (also called surrogate pregnancy). The surrogate mother may be the baby's biological mother (traditional surrogacy) or she may be implanted with someone else's fertilized egg (gestational surrogacy).

It is a difficult situation. It may seem "easier" to do the surrogate thing but you still need lawyers incase they (surrogate mom) changes her mind. Also if you plan to have them carry your baby, you may have to pay for the prenatal care and delivery. My parents delt with two years of papers, letters, adoption agencies etc...and they said that was all worth it to get me...and my mom says it was like labor for her. Nothing is easy in life.
Good luck!

no point you looking for some stranger really truely ask a good friend or close family member... there are so many legal communications in even looking for a surrogate... let alone allowing them to carry your baby.. ask someone you trust and draw up a contract anyways
good luck

that is a very good idea but then you never know either way which is the most best way because neither of these ways are always guaranteed to work a lot of people dont want to particpate because there is a lot involved in being a surrogate mother
