I got a mouthful of sharp plastic shards hidden in a bite from a frozen meal. Might I have a lawsuit?

I love how everyone is assuming I am actually considering such a lawsuit. Can't we post hypothetical questions here just to have a topic to discuss? It was just something I was wondering because I watch so much Boston Legal that I wonder how often silly lawsuits like this really do make it through. I wasn't injured, the meal cost like two dollars, and I do have a job. I hate you trolls. I will not be using this site again.

Perhaps you should see a doctor if you are injured. If you are not injured, take the meal back to where you bought it and ask for your money back.

If you defrosted the meal correctly and removed all possible packaging (not only following manufacturer's instructions carefully, but excecising common sense too) and the plastic was INSIDE the meal, not stuck to it then probably yes. But you'd need witnesses and the remails of the actual meal and its packaging, receipts and a whole bunch of patience. You'd also probably want to have a clean criminal record and good references about yourself because whovere you wanted to sue will pull EVERY trick in the book if you have a good case.

Doesn't your question qualify as a troll? You weren't injured, so maybe you can get a refund for your meal. That's about it.
