I want to buy an ipod but i have some questions.I want one for tv episodes(probably Family Guy) and music.

1.Which is the best model of the ipod?the ipod nano?I want a screen large enough to watch a movie or tv episode.
2.How much does a 5GB ipod cost? How many songs does it hold?I dont need like 10,000 songs but i dont want 500. 1000-2000 is about right.or maybe even 3000.prices?
3.Where is the best place to buy an ipod?I am in Canada right now,so Best Buy?I dont like buying stuff off of the internet(except itunes,if i got an ipod)
4.I dont want to have to charge it on my computer.is there a charger with it or do i have to buy one separatly?

Thanks in advance

1) Because of the ipod screen size you will likely be disapointed in the movies that it will play. Go look at one first in before you spend the money and then, if you stll want t view movies, you should likley get the bigest one (screen size) you can afford.

2) I saw the 4gb (which I have) nano last night at COSTCO (a warehouse outlet) for under $200. It will hold all the songs you spec. as well as a few photos and contact information if that rings your bell.

3) Costco as I mentioned... Best Buy is close to retail most of the time. Try eBay too for a grey market price which can be close to 40% off sometimes.

4) The iPod does not come with a charger (it charges via the computer link), but there are many aftermarket brands for both home and vehicle use. They run between $20 and $50 depending upon what you want to do with them (get the one that charges and transmits your songs to your car radio.)

ok... does that help??

well if you wanna watch videos buy the video one, i dont think u can watch videos with the ipod nano. Mine holds up 7,500 songs and it has 30GB, it cost me $250.
And yes u have to buy a separate charger if u dont wanna do it in your computer. The ipod nanos cost from $150 to $250. It depends on the GB.
and u can get them at walmart, best buy or any mac store.

i might want to bypass with the iPod contact using reality of instantly ahead contact-educate reveal screen navigation and an really good length educate reveal screen. The educate reveal screen length is suitable for playing video clips on the bypass. The track sounds tremendous interior the path of the headphones, yet you would possibly want to in user-friendly words use the headphones that pop out of the sphere, no distinct headphones will better healthful. 8GB is very no longer that lots, yet once you dont opt for to adhere to quite a number of reminiscence, 8GB might want to be ok. in case you go back to a call to get a extra physically powerful fee-efficient iPod bypass with the classic, yet i do propose the contact.

4. Specifically with reference to iPod battery's there is NO way to charge the battery. They are supposed to disposable. When you try to call apple computer to ask about how this environmental disaster reflects on their opinion, they tell you that technically iPod is not a part of Apple computer. I was shocked to find that out.
