I think the fact that you wrote to ask this question says it all! That was a really sweet gesture.
I know I would love something hand written from my hubby. Maybe you could write her a love letter..telling her all the reasons why you love her.
It might seem like something so small, but in the long run, it does mean more than chocolates or flowers ever would.
Gob bless you and I hope you come home safe and sound!

I think the video idea is a good one. You could also send her love letter, enlist the help of family here and plan a special day for her - maybe a makeover or something. Either way, I'm sure just hearing from you and knowing your safe will be present enough for her. Anything else will be icing on the cake!

Okay, you only have a couple of weeks left.
Call her on the phone and awake her with a great "I love you speech."
Have a friend's help in getting her something and he/she delivering it.
Email, letter, video, pictures are all wonderful.
Have a friend request her fave song, if she listens to radio much.
Make sure he dedicates it from you to her.
The (I owe You) could be something like:
"A romantic dinner, once I return,"
or
"five night of movie watching enjoyment."
You could make them look like Movie passes and send them to her.
Or, you could make them look like receipts.
You know your wife, be creative and think of ways that she will enjoy it.
Incorporate your own personal experiences into the letter.
Good luck and I hope that she enjoys her Valentine's day.
Wishing you a safe passage home.

Just let her know via correspondence that the very fact that you are deployed over-seas fighting for your country is the highest form of demonstrating you love for her. If it weren't for the effort you are making, she would not be able to enjoy the freedoms she does. What bigger show of love than to lay your life on the line for your loved ones!
I am a Viet Nam veteran (USMC) and I salute you and all the men and women in uniform!

You can call a florist near her and order flowers and have them sent over to her. you can tell them your situation and ask them what other type of services they offer. they may even stop by and pick up her favorite candy or meal and take it to her. when you call in the order for the flowers have the florist write down a poem you wrote or just some loving words and give it to her with the flowers. if you cant call then email a family member and ask them to go to hte florist for you.

When my husband was in Iraq, he ordered me flowers online and had them delivered to me. I was so happy, I cried. He also ordered a stuffed puppy dog named "Sad Sam" and when you squeezed it, he barked and said, "I Love You!". I'm not even that into stuffed toys and flowers and stuff, but I bawled (happiness) when I got them. This was soooooo not something he would normally ever even think about doing. Whenever I got upset while he was gone, I'd either look at Sam or squeeze him, and I would be happy. You don't have to get her flowers (they don't last) or that kind of stuff, but you can have stuff delivered to her if you have access to a computer.

Try placing an advertisement in her local paper. Write something gushy and loving to her. She'll feel extra special because tons of people will see it, not just her. The video idea is good too!
Sincere thanks for being there for the rest of us. God bless and keep you!

That's sweet!! Just write her a letter telling her everything you just said. It's unexpected and she will love it. I'm pretty sure she already knows how much you love and appreciate her.
