Yesterday, my brother had his friends over and he was acting all macho around them. i understand that he wants to show off in front of them but he was acting like a real jack ***. he was so mean to me and my friend, he told her to shut the hell up. so i yelled at him and then he told mind my own business. why is he being such a jerk? he doesn't act like this when his friends aren't around, he is the sweetest thing, but now he's such an *** around his friends.

Guys are really immature around their friends. They don't want to be known as the "nice guy". His friends will tease him if he doesn't tease you first. It's like some kind of lame "friend rule".
Ignore them....or better yet, stick gum in his hair. Immaturity is GREAT! LOL

Nobody ever wants to look lame in front of their friends so that act like idiots--which is basically them just acting out to make it look like they're as cool as their friends think. When in actuality-as the saying goes-birds of a feather...they all are lame punks when they get around each other and they prove it by their jerkish behavior.
