The store I work at has satelite radio and all our customers love the station that plays music from the 70's. We are switching to a CD system next month so we want to make some CDs that have good 70s music but we don't really know because we are all in our twenties. Please let me know what some really good, fun songs are from the 70s. Thanks!!!!

We would just look at what the satelite says it is playing but it is in our back room and we can't go back there every time to look when we like a song.

Thanks!!

Since you have satelite radio right now, just tune in to the 70's station and make notes of the songs and their artist and compile you a list from there. There are a gaggle of tunes from the 70's that make for real good listening ! You may also want to go online and check out Time-Life 70's music. I just bought a collection from them thats loaded with good stuff.

Wow ! That's a really broad question for a lot of killer music. I am 36 now, and I loved the 70s !! Rock and roll! ac/dc sex pistols The Clash Devo Black Sabbath Disco music is fun to listen to.. Its light, has hooks, and great beats. Man, the 70s to me personally was the defining era in music. There's so much to talk about!!! You can find excellent compilation albums fairly easily.

Try Rhino Records for their compilation CD's. There are other manufacturers, too.

Off the top of my head:

Carole King
Don MacLean
Deep Purple (Smoke on the Water)
America
Linda Ronstadt
The Eagles.
Anything Disco.

Also check wikipedia for the billboad charts for each year.

And PS: hire some old people, for crying out loud.
