agreed..this is a scam to get you to buy this ridiculous book..don't fall for it!!!

It's another one of those companies that will put your picture in some kind of yearbook for a good amount of money.

It's not an award that's recognized by anyone. If you can afford it, it'll look nice on a bookshelf. Beyond that, it really doesn't have any real use. You can't put it on a resume, lots of people will laugh if you show it to them so it's a risk to show it to anyone besides your immediate family.

Yeah, I got letters from them several times, as did some of my friends. Sometimes we were recommended by teachers/counselors, other times...I don't know why. I never bought the yearbooks they advertised, although i did send in my info a couple times. None of my friends bought the books either, but I think they are a legitimate company.

Garbage. They'll just ask you to buy a wildly expensive book in which your name and a short bio or something is printed. The only other people who own/consult those books are people who also fell for the scam and bought one.

What about it? My senior (or was it junior) year in high school I was in th who's who among american high school students. Kind of forgot about it until now as it really isn't a big deal.

I know of it. I recommend putting your name in it simply so you can put it on your resume as an accomplishment, but don't buy the book because it's a waste of money.
