My pc is very slow I have Broadband.Test indacate I need more momery

you need RAM, just find out what kind (PC 3200, PC100/133) and go to the sore and buy some, very easy to install.

Try ctrl + alt + esc to see if you have a program that is using a lot of your system resources. This can also be the cause of PCs slowing down. Do you have a firewall besides the one included with Windows XP running? If not (or you do have the MSFT one running) I'd suggest doing a virus scan and installing a better firewall.

If ur PC is old that may b the problem, or maybe u need more ram.Spyware could also b the problem.So u could sell ur current 1 and just by a new 1.

I doubt that memory is your problem unless you have too much crap running in the background. File sharing sites will eat the crap outta your bandwidth for one not to mention stuff malware in your pc which can cause other internet speed probs!

Hi. You can get a good idea of what needs improvement but going to www.pcpitstop.com : http://www.pcpitstop.com/ and running the full tests. Try and fix the machine with settings and maybe more RAM. (Usually a good thing anyway.)

perhaps you do....
or maybe you got too many programs running at once...
or maybe you got a lot of spyware chewing up resources
more info would be helpful in the diagnostics
