I am more interested to watch the youngstars game, Have any of you ever heard of Vitarelli Flippula on the Detroit Red Wings? He is a rookie with very nice hands and good vision. Has more goals than most kids in the youngstars game, Why didn't he make it? Who are your favorite upcomming college prospects for the NHL?

Absolutely, Ovechkin with Crosby and Briere. That should be interesting, and the skills competition should be exciting with players like Ovie, and Crosby, along with the goaltenders. I think Alexander Semin should have been on the team though, he has 4 multi-goal games this month, and has more points than any LW on the EAS than Heatly.

The All Star game is a popularity contest that does not include the best players. I think the Johnsons will do well. Staal and Downie are 2 players from the OHL I will look forward to seeing in the NHL.

I agree that it is a great game to see the young stars of the game shine. But what is even more interesting is seeing how the veterans react to the game, especially because they are much more expirienced in the sport, and it is impossible to know when it will be their time to exit.

i would say that it will have a good rookie game even without sid the kid and the other guy whos name i cant spell.

i can't wait to see what zach parise is gonna do...in his last 2 goal game...did you see those hands? holy crap...he made to amazing moves...i think the video is on youtube..it's only his second year and he's second scorer on the team
